A spiritual woman. Once a slave, but now free. You can feel the tribulations of life weighing heavily on her shoulder. But she takes those tribulations with the help of the Lord. She is telling the story of the three slaves escaping.

A story told through song, "Underground" tells the story of three slaves that cant bear the cruelty of slavery anymore and try to escape and traverse the path of the Underground Railroad using the hidden instructions in, what we now call, Negro Spirituals.
