Synopsis:
MALE AND FEMALE ASTRONAUTS. This is a tribe of Cosmic Deities. Looking for dancers, performers and avant-garde stage entertainers. ALL races, mixed and unknown ethnicity also encouraged to apply, looking for diversity, as long as you can dance in a semi-spontaneous improvisational manner. Male and Female performers who can do spaced out mystical style dancing and/or drumming . Authenticity is preferred, as well as performers who are trained or experienced in the ?native" style dancing, drumming, rituals, ceremonies, and movements of this tribe, or people who are open to learn to drum, dance or imitate the particular movements of their culture or spacey yet tribal dancing & drumming.If you have your own costume, this is also good. If you have your own drums or instruments all the better. If not, we can provide costumes and/or drums. We prefer people who can relate to or who have studied the particular culture and who can bring authenticity to the role.

SYNOPSIS: "Turbo Revo! Thee MoveEment" will be an experimental underground avant garde midnight movie musical unlike anything ever seen. Think "Rocky Horror Picture Show" meets "The Wizard of Oz","2001: A Space Odyssey" meets "Star Wars", Pop Culture meets Mystical Physics, and then some. The main character must go through different levels in order to reach self "Reelization",and along the way he meets a colorful cast of characters who help him to complete his mission. Each "level" is a seperate vignette done in a different style, and all the levels combine to tell a unique story that is going to result in an inter-active mixed media filmatic experience unlike any other! Everyone's invited and we hope you become a part of "Turbo Revo! Thee MoveEment".

Be part of an exciting film revo-lution! NYU thesis project with a unique concept involving nontraditional musical numbers, an eclectic cast of diverse, ethnic, spontaneous, high-energy performers, and a highly original concept. Project is being considered for it?s own possible TV show, internet exposure, and film festival submissions. Copy and credit as well as meals provided. Great exposure. Real people, good dancers, drummers, and performers are encouraged to apply, we?re looking for an essence. African American, Caucasian, Asian, Indian, Hispanic, Middle Eastern, Mixed,? unknown? and ALL Ethnicities as well as anyone with passion and enthusiasm for dancing, music, and performance encouraged to apply. Feel free to bring your own authentic costumes and instruments if you have them, otherwise, we will provide them. We are also looking for people who can truly relate to the characters they are playing. Sides provided.
