Synopsis:
Jill thinks abstractly and her thought patterns are unconventional. Because she spends so much time in her own little world, she comes off as dreamy and distant. She doesn’t like to think about the real world. When engaged in a conversation, Jillian has trouble keeping it grounded in reality. For this reason, people have trouble relating to her, and most of the time won’t make the effort to get to know her. These failed interactions have made Jill insecure. She uses her fabricated illness as an excuse to avoid social interaction.

FSU MFA Thesis Film:
Jillian, a timid hypochondriac with a vivid imagination, moves into a new town just in time for her freshmen year of high school. Afraid of meeting new people, Jill hangs out with the diseases that she thinks she has. When a local boy tries to get Jillian to break out of her shell, her diseases get angry and retaliate. Jillian must get out of her head and embrace the real world.
