Synopsis:
Producers and Director for indie short film shooting in July are searching for a talented actress who can portray the following role:

Main Character Role
Mom: (33, African African) . 5'7-5'10. Slender to average in build. The worrisome, disciplined, rigid mother of a spitfire 10 year old deaf child. She's a graceful beauty with a dancer's body that never bloomed, but hides her attractiveness behind subdued clothing, little makeup and too much fear. Must be able to speak and read sign language.

PRE-PRODUCTION & PRODUCTION
Shooting in mid-July. Weekly Rehearsals will be held the 6 weeks leading to production. Note: A Complete Rehearsal Schedule will be provided in advance to those who are selected. Please only apply if you will be able to meet this schedule.
