FSU MFA Thesis Film:
After Travis, a hopeless romantic loses Eloise the love of his life, he embarks on a quest to raise her from the grave. With the help of a Voodoo Priest and a magic candle, Travis resurrects Eloise, but the priest warns him that he must kiss her before the candle burns out. If Travis kisses Eloise she will be his forever, but if not, Eloise returns to the grave. As the night wears on Travis begins to realize that the girl of his dreams isn’t all he remembered. Shallow and vain, Eloise cares only for herself. Travis must examine his relationship with Eloise and what it means to live and to love. Is beauty really only skin deep?
