FSU MFA Thesis Film:

Nate is an artistic but shy high school sophomore, whose social status is stuck on “invisible” thanks in part to the abuses of his tyrannical older sister, Heather. He is content living in his sister’s shadow until he meets Logan, an attractive upperclassman. Nate expresses his feelings for Logan by folding a paper heart each time Logan does something that reaffirms Nate’s crush. These hearts attract the attention of Sara who is desperate to get Nate to join the decorating committee for the homecoming dance. But the decorating committee is Heather’s turf and she’s made it clear that Nate is not welcome. Nate must find his courage and confront his sister if he wants to impress Logan.
