He is not ready to face being an adult and regresses to a childlike state surrounded by childhood toys.

This is a fantasy realism piece. The film will be about an 18 year old who is kicked out on his 18th birthday. While packing in his room, he suffers anxieties over rent, work, taxes, and other adult-related pressures. Rather than face the inevitable with confidence and fortitude, he regresses through his childhood belongings.
