Jessica has been having sleeping problems in her room. She always looks under bed. One day while talking to a lady, watches home video of her dad getting dragged under her bed by something as a kid. Jessica loses it and a nurse comes and takes her away. You learn that she was not in her house, but in a mental hospital all along.

Above synopsis is very brief. The entire movie you will think Jessica is in her house having these problems sleeping. While talking to a lady, you assume it's a friend of hers. They watch the home video from when Jessica was a kid. She tells her dad there's a monster under her bed, and he goes to look and a demon/creature grabs him. You learn that's why she's afraid in the present day. She starts screaming during the video and a nurse comes and takes her back to room. That's where you learn she was never in her house, but a mental hospital. The last shot is Jessica laying in her bed wide awake and it pans down and you see the creature laying under her bed smiling at the camera.
