Embodies idealistic Marsha Brady-esque perfection, charismatic, intelligent, a natural charmer. The apple of Maggie's eye. Recently consumed with her first serious boyfriend, a musician/ hippie type. Has become interested in hippie-wannabe culture and current events. Though she is distracted from her relationship with her sister, we need to like her and be able to see the positive nature that Maggie adores. Able to play a 17-18 year old.

FSU MFA Thesis Film:

Maggie is a precocious 10 year old in 1973. She idealizes Meredith, her teenage sister, but when Meredith becomes consumed with her new boyfriend, Maggie is disconcerted and wishes to regain her sister's attention. Upon finding Meredith's romance novels, Maggie develops a curiosity about the meaning of sex and relationships. In an effort to rise to her sister's level of maturity, Maggie and her naive friend Ben go on a quest to discover the meaning of what they read in the romance novels. Private Little Eyes is a bittersweet comedy/ coming of age story that follows Maggie and Ben's journey into a grown-up subject unknown.
