MADDIE, early-mid 20s, is a good-looking, tidy, well-educated journalist who strives to become a published author. After her mother’s death during childbirth, she was raised by her father who passed away two years ago. With ultimately no immediate family, she fears being alone and struggles to gain her independence and abandon her unstable, long-term relationship with James to pursue her career.

An overbearing man attempts to coerce his barren fiancé into kidnapping a newborn child from their local park so they can begin a family of their own.

Engaged couple, MADDIE and JAMES, walk through a community park as they argue about starting a family of their own. They sit down on a park bench to continue their argument about James’ absurd plan to kidnap a child from the park. James, eager to follow in the footsteps of his father and older brothers, has become obsessed with beginning a family of his own. However, the couple recently received unsettling news that Maddie is unable to carry a child full term. The two struggle to gain control and dominance over one another until the argument causes Maddie to make a final decision about her relationship and future with James.
