Synopsis:
April: A young actress who dedicates herself to a role with a sense of direction and focus that she has trouble applying to her own life. She is intelligent and attractive with a polished appearance, but with hesitant, uncertain movements – not because she’s clumsy, but because she often wants to take back what she starts to do. (Spoiler: April is a recent victim of rape, which she has kept secret) Actor should be good at physical improv.

What starts as a romantic comedy gives way to the dark side in “LITTLE WHITE LIE”. When Anthony, a struggling 29 year old filmmaker, brings home April, a young actress who has had an emotional day on his set, he tells her a little white lie. Poignant misunderstandings follow, as April gets caught in her own white lie by Anthony’s short tempered roo

Brooklyn Young Filmmakers is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit.. This film project was developed in BYFC’s “Make A Film” Class Series, that we run in conjunction with New York City College of Technology’s Division of Continuing Education. Emerging filmmakers who will be working on this project include Adonis Williams, Director (view Adonis’ work at: gal.adoniswilliams.com) and Tai Kanyarat, Cinematographer (view Tai’s work at: http: First round of auditions will be held the evening of Wed, Dec 15. Rehearsals will start in January, 2011, and will be on Wednesday nights. The shoot will be the weekend of February 18, 19, & 20. There is no pay involved. Meals will be provided on the shoot. Actors will get a DVD copy of the finished film.
