Synopsis:
Four non-speaking males to play roles of sons to the main character. Roles are minor but story cannot be told without them. Males should be Caucasian, 15-23, or at least can appear that age, no taller than 6' and no heavier than 180 lbs unless absolutly height and weight proportionate, prompt and willing to take direction. No previous experience necessary.

Surviving Sewanee- The Samuel Mitchell Story

 
Samuel Mitchell was a Civil War veteran, who also happened to by my Great Great Grandfather. His is a story of survival and strength that is both heart rendering and awe inspiring. I have spent more than twenty years researching his life and am in the process of committing this to film in the form of a documentary about his life.

While detailed in the mountains of Tennessee at a place called Sewanee in August, 1863, a tremendous accidental explosion killed many men-- he was one of the few survivors of that event. Parts of his life will be recreated here in North Austin.
