Project Details:

'The Meaning of Filo' is the first project for us at Submersive Films. A short film, it is the story of an alcoholic who is having reoccurring nightmares about his own death. Setting forth on an inward journey manifested through his dreams, he is ultimately forced to confront his disease in order to save his own life.

Being of the 'Thriller' genre, the narrative will twist around the main characters dreams and reality without it being clear which is which.

Shooting will begin February 24th and run until March 30th. All shooting will take place in San Francisco at locations that are situated on Bush St. between Leavenworth and Jones, except for one scene that will take place in the basement of Old First Presbyterian Church on Sacramento and Van Ness. There will be a 2 week break in shooting between March 11th - March 22nd.
