Candidate must be well rounded in life and in touch with the realities of the world as it relates to the way people live. Specific knowledge about the city of Houston, its history, its demographics and its current political and civic challenges is a plus but not absolutely necessary

To act as program host to a new local houston tv program

Candidate will serve as lead writer for the show and will work with producers to craft and shape the tone and visual look the show. Candidate must have a working knowledge of television production, and television, video and or broadcast writing experience is a must.

Lead Television Writer Needed:

A Houston Production Company is in search of a lead writer for a new local half- hour television program. The program is in the early stages of development and is slated to be a weekly half hour inspirational news-magazine style program.

The premise of the program is to showcase the ?life-changing? and positive efforts made by people, communities and organizations in the Houston area. The program will feature one on-camera host and tell the stories of average Houstonians and initiatives that are making a profound and positive impact in the lives of others and in the community at large. Stories topics will run the gamut from individual and community grassroots efforts, to medical, engineering and scientific innovations, to personal, legal and political efforts.
