Role Details:

Role:
Tom -- Lead Male Actor in the Indie film "Isabel"

Pay:
There is pay for this role.

Union:
This role is open to non-union members.

Gender:
M

Age:
40-49

Ethnic Look:
Caucasian

Synopsis:
The lead male for the film “Isabel” plays a broken-hearted lover/dead-beat father.

The lead male will play an eligible bachelor, a father, and also a lobster fisherman in the 40-50 range. He will be the romantic interest to: Sharon Wright: www.imdb.com

All actors applying for the lead role must have either film or theater experience or training. (One or the other is fine.)

Pay will be $300 per week and a percentage of any profits the film makes either through awards or distribution. Further bed and board will be taken care of as well as, in some cases, transportation costs. Because $300 per week plus a percentage of profits is not considered an acceptable form of payment for SAG, I will be looking for non-SAG actors. I apologize for the low wages, but I'm just a starving artist myself. My first feature length is in post-production and will not be in festivals or released until later this year, so I’m still down all the costs of that film with no returns until at least later this Summer. Therefore I'm going to be funding this film with a large loan.

Project Details:

Category:
Film

Title:

The film is about a broken-hearted lover/dead-beat father rebuilding ‘a family’ from broken people in his life. The film will be a drama about family and relationships, most likely be rated a PG-13.

I am Mark Ketola a.k.a. Jack Skyyler, director of “Somethings Lost,” a feature-length independent film currently in post production. My website is: www.JackSkyyler.com

I am in pre-production on an independent romance/drama “Isabel” which will be entered into the Sundance Film Festival. The film will, obviously, be shot in HD and will have a complete original soundtrack composed for it.

This will be filmed from May 23rd through June 12th 2010 in Spruce Head, Maine (Rockland Area). (If the date is a problem say you'd have to be 3 days late or leave 3 days early — something, we can probably work that out.)
